This is the nighttime view from our window at the Mountaineer Inn, a landmark lodging establishment in Ashville, NC where we[ve taken shelter from the storm. The 84 year old owner (a.k.a. the mountaineer) has been running this classic old motor inn for 45years, since he arrived from his homeland of Greece years ago. It's got hill billy themed art and they give you real room keys! Well, gotta go: Dave and Will just returned with take-out pizza. Life is good!

Taken Shelter in Ashville
This is the nighttime view from our window at the Mountaineer Inn, a landmark lodging establishment in Ashville, NC where we[ve taken shelter from the storm.
