Griffana women and children cruise the beachfront street selling coconut bread and sweets, often carrying the goodies in plastic tubs on their heads. Sadly, the beaches are littered with trash as local folks don't seem to have an ethic about not littering. Yesterday, after an Evangelical church group had a Sunday service and an all day picnic on the beach, several of us spent the early morning cleaning up the mess left behind with gloves and trash bags.
