According to the Mexico City english-language daily “The News,” fewer people are putting the effort into mounting elaborate three-dimensional models in their homes. However, folkart expert Maria del Carmen Fernandez reports, “the nativity scene remain the most anticipated and the most-love exhibition at the Palacio de Iturbide gallery in Mexico City.” Personally, I have really enjoyed looking at a larger than life nativity inside a church this past Sunday and loved seeing several of the traditional miniture Nativity scenes in local museums here in Guanajuato.
