Morning Touches Bahia Kino

Pink wind-rippled sands and the quiet roll of the gentle sea; ahhh…this is our last relaxing morning sipping coffee on the veranda overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Tomorrow we depart from this secure, comfortable paradise, and heading toward Mexican adventures unknown. From December 1-13 we will be traveling the Pacific Coast driving south on Route 15 from Guaymas to Guadalajara, camping in secure RV parks or staying in small hotels. Eventually, we’ll make our way to the colonial town of Guanajuato northwest of Mexico City where we’ll be spending the Christmas holidays. We’ve rented a house (with internet access!) in Guanajuato from December 13-27. Until then, we’ll have no regular internet access (and our Verizon cellphone doesn’t work in Mexico). Our itinerary (passport numbers and emergency contact information) is registered with the US Embassy in Mexico. If possible, we’ll try to update this blog periodically during the next two weeks from internet cafes, but please don’t fret if you don’t hear from us for awhile. We’ll be back on-line on December 13th. Cheers!
