After an early morning flight yesterday from Newark to Mexico City, with a connecting flight to Hermosilla, and an hour-long drive to Bahia Kino: grandma El arrives at the beach! Still nursing a head cold, she is a real trooper to make the long trip to visit us and we couldn't be happier to see her. She's a natural at the beach: the last time we spent time together was at the beach in New Jersey! After helping Kim with her school work this morning, they are both off for a walk on the white sands - maybe finding seashells, maybe watching pelicans.

Grandma Arrives!
After an early morning flight yesterday from Newark to Mexico City, with a connecting flight to Hermosilla, and an hour-long drive to Bahia Kino: grandma El arrives at the beach! Still nursing a head cold, she is a real trooper to make the long trip to visit us and we couldn't be happier to see her. She's a natural at the beach: the last time we spent time together was at the beach in New Jersey! Grandma's are the BESTEST and Kim's smile tells it ALL! I am so happy that Grandma can help with homework- AND show Kim one of my most favorite birds! NO Pelican's here but we hit 60 again today!
