Carole Gruenert and her husband Dieter (formerly of Shelburne, VT) very generously loaned us her car to drive into San Francisco for a day of sight-seeing (Philomena was too laden with things too temping steal to risk parking her in the city.) The Gruenerts also invited Will to spend the afternoon and evening with his old friend Luke (their youngest son and Will's good buddy who left Vermont when the boys were in 2nd grade.) Will really enjoyed catching up with Luke (not to mention having a little "free time" from his parents and sister!) Thank you Dieter, Carole and Luke!
