When we hit Bumble Bee, Arizona (for real: I love the name of that town!) plant life got big and prickly. (Sorry, kids: there will be no more tree climbing for a while.) I'm fairly certain that we are the only people driving without airconditioning. The AZ state campgrounds are by far the best we've found anywhere; and we are really enjoying the rugged the mountians, desertscape scenery and howling nightlife. But it is definately hot, hot, hot: about 90'F, about ten degrees above the seasonal norm.
