At Home in Homer

Thank you, Barb, for an amazing stay in Homer! Barb Seaman, a good friend of Ellin, generously offered us the use of her comfortable home during our stay in Homer. A moose and calf greeted us in her drivewayupon our arrival and the wildlife sightings continued with a migrating flock of Sand Hill Cranes transversing the jagged snowcapped peaks in the stunning view from her deck. We looked out across the Kachemak Bay at amazing glacial filled valleys. So inspired, we took Mako’s water taxi across the bay and hiked to the terminal lake at the toe of Grenwick Glacier, picnicing surrounded by blue ice and beauty.
